I don’t. I admit that I cheat. I sometimes buy the fresh fruit already cut up and store them in their containers in Ziploc™ bags in the refrigerator. In the winter I will often use the frozen berries. In the mornings, I quickly grab a few pieces of fruit from each storage container and throw them into my Vitamix™ with some of the berries.
I store my nuts and seeds in the pantry in Ziploc bags or in closed containers. I include a tablespoon of nuts and/ or seeds into my smoothie, along with a handful of washed greens – whatever is available on that particular day.
I sprinkle a dash of cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg in the container, pour in my juice, cover the container tightly and in one minute I have my breakfast Smoothie.
