Make your face glow. Your face is the first part of you that people see. Pamper yourself this month and get a good facial. Go a step further and schedule a consultation with your local “Cosmetic Dermatologist”. It is well worth the money!
“Sophisticated” is the word to remember for your finished “look”. Read and follow the advice of “the fashion police” when you are shopping for clothes and accessories.
A great smile will attract people to you. Give yourself a treat this month and schedule an appointment with the best “Cosmetic Dentist” in your area. It is well worth the money that you pay the dentist to get an opinion on perfecting your SMILE. You will never regret the investment.
A great Hair Cut and Conditioning will make always make you look younger. Find a stylist that will give you a great cut that fits your face. Many stylists can now put a picture of your face on a computer and show you the hairstyles that will make your face look younger and more sophisticated. Who doesn’t want that?
Your Inside (the health of your Gut)
You will always look younger and feel younger if you control what you put INSIDE your body (what you eat & drink). The food that you eat determines the health of your body. Follow our TABB guidelines in Good Health News© for healthy eating and weight control. Also see the MyPH suggestions for healthy eating at www.MyPreventiveHealth.com.
Your Outside (Your Skin)
“Your skin is the portal to your soul”. Your skin tends to dry out and becomes less plump as we age. To keep your skin looking Young and Healthy, drink lots of clean water, eat a good mix of fruits and vegetables and get some daily exercise. Even 5 minutes of vigorous exercise 3 times a day will help. If you are beyond age 50, I suggest you consult with a doctor that is trained is Age Management Medicine to help you maintain the optimal hormonal balance.
People around you pay attention to your hands and your nails as you are eating, shaking hands, signing documents, etc. The same holds true for your feet when they are exposed at home, at work or at the beach. This month, we want you to treat yourself to a manicure/ pedicure. You only live once and you deserve to have your nails and your feet looking great.
To look younger, feel younger and remain healthy you need to get 8 hours of restful sleep per day. Adequate sleep keeps the immune system healthy and your immune system protects your body from disease and cancer. It is ok to catch up on some of your sleep in the form of “naps”. Fortunately for you, the body doesn’t really care how you get the 8 hours of sleep as long as you get 8 hours of restful sleep per day.
